I got my cam (Canon 300D) back yesterday from Canon, as it had showed hotpixels (glowing red and blue pixels, not like "normal" noise at higher ISO levels) at longer exposures (starting at 3sec.!) at ISO 100, which made nightshots a PITA. For I speed at night, which had an exposure of 30sec., it took me a while to get rid of all the hot pixels. Anyway, the Canon service replaced the whole sensor with a new one (woohoo!), et voilà, no more hotpixels at long exposures!
Nightshots, here I come! - so expect some more pictures in the coming days!
